I know, I know. EVERYONE is looking for TOOL tickets.

Myself included. I am looking for 2 TOOL tickets to the May 6th, 2006 (saturday) show in Tempe, Arizona @ASU.

Please if ANYONE has any tickets, any leads or a way for me to see them play that weekend let me know. I'm willing to pay a fair price, however will not support greedy scalpers on eBay and their ridiculous $450+ for a pair of tickets.

From one TOOL fan to another; THANKS!!!!

a lost hope [15 Apr 2005|02:36am]

querulousennui
ok. i've given up all hope.

when was this anticipated tapworm project supposed to be out---around 2002 and 2003. yeah. great. it's 2005 now.
no sign of it being released.

there was that "vacant" song played by apc being passed around the internet for a while, and probably still is...that was in 2000...it's 2005 now.
there's also a few that may/may not be part of it with 12rounds, uneven, marilyn manson (i really have no idea who to credit these songs to...i know that they're not on any records i can find)

so maybe it's gone for good...why? because trent is a perfectionist and (probably) was really pissed that apc played a song from it...the collaborators had projects of their own...trent had his own other projects to be doing...maybe creative conflicts...control conflicts...anything!...is it done? who knows! definitely not (in trent's eyes) if it's not released.

however, with teeth is due out in less than one month...trent still has a ridiculous cult following and he seems to be doing well and is playing this may and summer. sounds good!
...except for: i can't believe that he seriously thought he couldn't sell out bigger venues. oh well. they'll be another tour for all who did/couldn't see this one coming up.

i have a thought...

who knows of the status of Tapeworm and if the song The Outsider is referring to... Trent, perhaps?

i just listened to it, and for some reason Starfuckers, Inc. ((which as we know is Trent's biting attack at Manson)) popped into my head... and from there, i began listening to the song in a different light. from what i perceive in my head of Trent, from the albums, interviews and other snippet-like stories i've read... it could very jolly well be it. just a thought.

New Nin album info from theprp.com [16 Jul 2004|11:44am]

Nine Inches Of News - wookubus
(1:28 AM PST 07/14/2004)
Trent Reznor of nine inch nails recently unveiled a wealth of info regarding the bands upcoming new album "Bleed Through", here's what he had to say:
"I have a group of twenty tracks that's being considered for the record. After a lot of thought, I've decided to produce the record myself. Why, do you ask? Well, I feel very inspired right now and I want this record to be what's in my head, for better or worse.

I'm bringing in Alan Moulder as a sounding board / co-producer / mixer and James Brown (not that James Brown) for some tracking: Atticus Ross is my right hand man and programmer and has been from the start of this record. Leo Herrera is engineering. Rick Rubin has been a mentor, source of inspiration and guiding force throughout the process.

There is a much less refined approach to most of this record and I wrote a lot of the tracks envisioning powerful live drumming: enter Dave Grohl. Working with him has been once of the most inspiring and exciting experiences I've had in the studio. The tracks he's played on (all fifteen), have come alive in a "better-than-I'd-even-hoped-for" type way. The rest of the music I'm playing myself.

We are tentatively mixing the record in October and tracking, treating and thinking from now until then. That means the record comes out early 2005 and we will tour extensively worldwide to support it.

Who's in the live band? Don't know yet.

Meanwhile, we're releasing two other items this fall. The long-awaited Closure DVD will finally see the light of day - with extra content, and the downward spiral deluxe edition - a two disc package remastered, remixed in 5.1 and more. We just finished remixing TDS in surround and it really lends itself to the format - you will soon have a new disc to demo your system with!"
More info can be found in the "access" section of the bands official website, www.nin.com.

Question/Validation [09 Jun 2004|02:28am]

I have Kazaa Lite, and by the chance that something might have leaked, I typed in "Tapeworm Project", and foud a few things, well actually more than I thought I would. So I downloaded them, and for the most part I like it. Some of it seemed a bit more Chemical Brothers, than anything Trent or James have done, but eh. There was one song though that is either Trent or the lead singer of Filter, the name of the song is, "Burn", and it's actually REALLY good... And in form with NIN songs... Was just wondering how valid this is, if anyone might know...
